From the 17th to the 21st of April, the VIII Kyiv International Short Film Festival, which will present the actual cut of a short meter from around the world and the cinema classics, will introduce the audience with representatives of the world cinema industry.
The national competition program for the first time included the film by Pavel Ostrikov, "Mia Donna", produced by the film company Kristi films, which is currently competing for the annual National Film Award "Golden Dzyga".
"Mia Donna" - a story about how a woman treated her husband, as if to a child, and he eventually turned into her. I wanted to show that love over the years turns into maternal care, where there is no place of passion. At the same time, I tried to shoot a movie without morality and do not teach anyone ... "- told Ostrikov to the Moviegram.
In recognition of the director, he will for the first time present his work at this festival, which is an important step in his creative biography. We remind that KISFF Festival develops national and international short film platforms to open new forms and methods of film production in Ukraine and abroad. This is a national and international cinematic meeting place, a source of inspiration and new knowledge for professionals, students and cinema lovers.
We are waiting for everyone on the film screening "Mia Donna" on Saturday, April 20, in the blue hall of the cinema "Kyiv".
