Kristi Films continue shooting «Taras Shevchenko: The First Samurai». Prime Minister Volodymyr Groysman and Minister of Culture Yevgeny Nishchuk have visited the Writers' House, where a scene in Mr. Yaromir's estate was filming. The government has allocated 19.6 million hryvnias for the production of the «Taras Shevchenko: The First Samurai» adventure film.

Roman Perfiliev's project «Taras Shevchenko» won the Patriotic Cinema Competition organized by State Film Agency of Ukraine last year. In this film, Kobzar is masterful of oriental martial arts and he tries to save his lover.
